So, I got the position with Students Without Borders for the volunteer placement at Centro de Informacion y Educacion para la Prevencion del Abuso de Drogas (CEDRO).
It is pretty exciting; although it hasn't really hit me yet. I guess also in this swamp that is the work that the University of Waterloo tortures us with, I haven't really had the chance or the time to really let it sink it.
In any case, this will be my blog to keep friends and family updated about my life in Lima. I am not planning on bringing my laptop with me to Peru, so I am not sure how often I will be able to keep it updated, but I guess time will tell!
And now...off to edit an essay!!!
